DJ Star-Q is by far one of the fastest rising club DJs spawning out of the island of Montreal.In 1999,Star-Q joined one of North America’s most respected reggae sound crews,Little Thunder.They then started making history for his hometown by placing the Montreal-based soundcrew on the map, not only locally but by breaking international barriers as well.Star-Q alongside the Little Thunder Sound Crew has been nominated and won numerous awards.Of notable mention,the group received the impressive recognition of winning the title of “Best Reggae DJ of the Year” at the 2008 Stylus DJ Awards held in Toronto,Canada. Also, winning the title of “Dancehall Reggae DJ of the Year” at the Montreal DJ Awards held in Dec.’08.Star-Q has been front and center at some of the largest reggae events in Canada including the Montreal Reggae Festival.He has also played opening DJ sets for renowned reggae artists such as Beenie Man,Bounty Killer,Beres Hammond,Sanchez,and Sean Paul just to name a few.Now, embarking on a new solo mission, Star-Q is in the driver’s seat and is equipped to satisfy the most diverse club audiences.DJ Star-Q is here to make his mark, as this star is here to stay and shine . . .
